All photos have only basic color-correction techniques applied

Let me explain. The sensor is what sees the image. In this case, bigger is better, especially in low light. And you're able to capture incredible depth of field images (when the foreground is in focus and the background isn't).

I shoot all photography and video with the Canon 5D MK II, which is the only camera with a full-frame sensor (see diagram on the right) . By comparison, the very best broadcast video cameras have a 2/3" inch sensor and the 1/3" is found in all camcorders.

There is nothing to compare with the images from the Canon 5D MKII.
